Device & installation data: a device identifier, application version, operating-system version, and basic hardware information such as available memory and disk space.
Operational & usage diagnostics: limited technical events such as which task was run, the associated GSTIN and filing period, the outcome and duration, and controlled error codes used to diagnose problems.
Support information: information you provide when you contact us or submit a support request.

2. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your accounting records, file contents, financial statements, passwords, or credentials. Diagnostic messages are sanitised to remove file paths, user names, and similar identifying details before they leave your device.

To validate licences and prevent misuse.
To operate, maintain, and secure the Software.
To diagnose errors, monitor reliability, and improve features.
To provide customer and technical support.
To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Legal Basis & Consent

We process this information to perform our contract with you (providing the licensed Software) and for our legitimate interests in keeping the Software secure and reliable. Limited operational diagnostics are a necessary part of delivering the licensed service.

We do not sell your information. We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate the Software (for example, hosting and error-reporting providers), and where required by law. These providers are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us.

We retain licence and account records for as long as your licence is active and as required for legal and accounting purposes. Operational diagnostic events are retained for a limited period (typically up to 90 days) and are then deleted or aggregated. Device inventory records are kept as installation history.

Diagnostic data is transmitted over a secured, authenticated channel. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
